Hicksville LIRR Commuters Have Cars Illegally Booted In Mall Parking Lot
Nearly three dozen drivers said they found their cars booted in the Broadway Mall parking lot. The drivers had parked their cars there while the LIRR parking garage is closed for improvements. Mall security placed boots on the cars’ tires and drivers were forced to pay $150 to free their vehicles.

The drivers were outraged by what happened. They were charged $150 each to free their vehicles. Drivers complained, and supervisor Joseph Saladino informed the mall management that the move was illegal because the private entities are not allowed to boot because the code is for the town only and that what makes a move illegal. So, the towing company removed the boot and refunded the drivers of the fines they paid. I think that it is not safe to park in the area which is under construction. I’ve been in Bethpage Community Park in Hicksville, New York. Every park has its unique characteristics. This park features a beautiful space and a pretty awesome playground. I like the fact that they have new equipment installed. I enjoy the musical instruments and the large sandbox. You will also find a shade in some areas, but it’s not enough to protect you against the sun. So, it’s better to put your sunscreen if you plan to come during the hot days. However, if you will go early in the morning or late in the afternoon, this place is perfect for swimming. That’s why every summer, my family and I enjoy the pool regularly while during winter, we enjoy skating.
